It was a day that was filled with jubilation and excitement for Team CUPA. October 4th World Animal Day 2017! Celebrated across the globe, this day has a special significance that unites the animal welfare movement, mobilizing it into a global force for change.
It is with great pride and joy, we announce that India Post has chosen to release CUPA special covers, amidst much fanfare at the GPO, to commemorate this wonderful occasion. The Release Ceremony was graced by the presence of Col. Arvind Varma – Postmaster General, Bengaluru HQ division, Mr. Sandesh Mahadevappa, IPoS, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Bangalore East Division and Mr. Chittaranjan Pradhan, Director of Postal Accounts, who all spoke briefly about the significance and need for awareness around animal welfare.
