In a gala event hosted by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(FICCI) Ladies Organization (FLO) on April 21, 2017, CUPA’s co-founder trustee Mrs. Suparna Ganguly was honored the Women’s Achiever Award for her exemplary work and contribution in the field of animal welfare.
In her Thank You speech, Suparna thanked the confederation and the jury for recognizing animal welfare as a mainstream field and the welfare needs of the animals used in industry, that supply a number of products that we use in our daily lives.
Never underestimate the beauty, poise, strength and power that resounds when a group of determined women set out to accomplish a mission! The event was a tribute to every working woman out there – unsung, but heroines nonetheless.
CUPA is tremendously proud of its Trustees and the entire team for the collective efforts and achievements in animal welfare that have provided solace and well-being to several thousand animals over the years.
