CUPA has worked for many many years, tirelessly serving those voiceless animals in the city. The Namma Bengaluru Foundation, for the past 3 years, has been a huge motivating force to NGOs in all sectors, acknowledging and appreciating the efforts by individuals and organizations that would otherwise go unnoticed in the public eye. This year, the spotlight was on CUPA when we were chosen from a nominee list as large as nearly 75,100 participants for the Namma Bengaluru Awards.
Team CUPA showed up in strong numbers for the event which was held at Freedom Park Bangalore on 15th March 2014. It was awe-inspiring and overwhelming to learn and hear of other people striving towards change and creating social impact in so many various and innovative ways. CUPA finished as a finalist, chosen as one of the top 12 most impactful NGOs in the city. It is an honor to receive this recognition and this comes as a fresh boost of energy and motivation for us to continue our efforts in helping Bangalore’s street and stray animals. It is heartening to know that the public is not only aware of our contribution to the society but also appreciates and supports our mission and commitment to animals.
